Designed as four caterpillars, the first applied with blue enamel, accented with turquoise cabochons, the eyes set with single-cut diamonds, the second applied with red enamel, accented with emerald cabochons, the eyes similarly set with single-cut diamonds, the third with a cream-colored enamel, set with sapphire cabochons, the eyes set with cabochon emeralds, the fourth applied with alternating red and cream-colored enamel, accented by ruby and emerald cabochons, the eyes set with cabochon sapphires.
