The crest is that of Seymour, for Rear Admiral Sir Michael Seymour (1802-1887) Commander-in-Chief of her Majesty’s Naval Forces in the East Indies and China, G.C.B. May 20, 1859, Commander-in-Chief Portsmouth 1863-66. Seymour Road in Hong Kong is named after him.
