TWO ENAMEL AND SAPPHIRE CIGARETTE CASES, 1940S


Each of rectangular design, applied with the crowned monogram of King Farouk of Egypt in multicoloured enamel, the thumbpieces each set with calibré-cut sapphires, opening to reveal plain interiors, one with a hinged cigarette grip, the first measuring approximately 85 x 68 x 8mm, numbered, French export maker's mark, fitted case with crown device stamped A. Aucoc; the second measuring approximately 85 x 54 x 8mm, French export maker's mark.
