In 2021, ripe and opulent on the nose, an illustrationof the vintage and that incredible terrain of the 'Clos' at LéovilleLascases, almost straddling the border between St.Julien and Pauillac,lying just over the little stream that separates the appellations. Explosive blueberries. On the palate, all the tannins have melted intorichness and harmony, with wonderful glycerol texture utterly envelopingthe structure. Then there is a mega-juicy, succulent finish. LandmarkLascases and a landmark 1982. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
