Sapphire, cultured pearl and diamond parure, ‘The Empress of Timur’, circa 1990

Comprising: a brooch designed as an elephant pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eye collet-set with a cabochon sapphire, enhanced with baguette diamonds, featuring a collet-set oval sapphire, supporting round and button-shaped cultured pearls, signed Ellagem, Italian assay marks for gold; a pair of earrings, each designed as an elephant pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eye collet-set with a cabochon sapphire, to a round cultured pearl, post and hinged back fittings, signed Ellagem, Italian assay mark for gold; and a ring similarly set, size 49^1/2, unsigned.
