A Dongyao celadon lobed washer, Five dynasties 五代 東窰青釉花式洗

A Yaozhou celadon bowl of similar form in the Meiyintang collects ion, is illustrated in Regina Krahl, Chinese Ceramics from the Meiyintang collects ion, vol. 3 (II), London, 2006, pl. 1473.

Bowl fragments indented in this unusual manner to create a broad groove, rather than a sharp ridge, have been recovered from the Huangpu kiln sites in Tongchuan, Shaanxi province, and are illustrated in Wudai Huangpu Yaozhi [The remains of the Five Dynasties Huangpu Kiln], Beijing, 1997, pl. 59. These kilns, predecessors of the Yaozhou kilns, are often referred to as Dongyao, 'Eastern kilns'.

陝西省銅川市黃堡窰址出土與此盌相類之殘瓷，圖見《五代黃堡窰址》，北京，1997年，圖版59。這些窰口乃耀州窰之前身，稱之「東窰」。
