An Italian marbles and hardstones specimen collectsion,

probably assembled in the 19th century or early 20th century

comprising 300 polished rectangular specimens each with a manuscript label to their back, including Breccia Quintilina, Giallo Tigrato, Alabastro Marino, Breccia Policroma, Pietra Braschia amongst others, arranged in a later stained wood cabinet comprising ten drawers each containing thirty samples

overall 54.3cm. high, 62.5cm. wide, 48.5cm. deep; 1ft. 9⅜in., 2ft.⅜in., 1ft. 7⅛in.

each sample approx. 9.8cm x 5cm, 3¾in. x 2in.
