woodblock print, from the series Collected Views of Japan II, Kansai Edition (Nihon fukei shu II Kansai hen), signed Hasui, sealed Kawase, publisher's circular seal to the bottom left corner Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo), dated Showa jurokunen saku (made in 1941)
Vertical oban: 39 x 26 cm., 15½ x 10½ in.
The clear water reflects the Taihei-kaku; a Chinese-inspired bridge with roofed walkway and central tower.
