An Apothecary's ivory mortar and pestle, Indo-Portuguese, probably Goa, 17th-18th century

H. 14cm D. 8.5cm ; high 5½ diam 3⅜ in.

Mortier d'Apothicaire et son pilon en ivoire sculpté, tourné et annelé, Indo-Portugais, probalement Goa, XVIIe/XVIIIe siècle.

Décor strié horizontal, repose sur un piédouche, quatre anneaux en relief ornent la panse.

Nombreuses fentes, accidents avec quelques manques, patine brune.

H. 14cm D. 8.5cm ; high 5½ diam 3⅜ in.
