Sale, London, Replica Shoes 's, 30 November 1927, lot 49 (to Meatyard);
Paul Oppé (1878-1957) purchased from Meatyard (20s),
his posthumous sale, London, Christie's, Master Drawings from the Oppé collects ion, 6 December 2006, lot 39 (as Venetian(?) School, early 18th Century)
London, Royal Academy, The Oppé collects ion, 1958, no. 439 (as Longhi)
The attribution to Antolínez was first proposed by Dr. Zahira Véliz, former curator of the Apelles collects ion, who rightly stressed the great stylistic similarities with the artist's painted work.  These foreshortened putti, with very close peculiarities in the rendering of the anatomy to their painted counterpart, can be seen surrounding the numerous Immaculate Conceptions, executed by the artist in the second half of the seventeenth Century.1
