The present example features an orangey-pink coral dial that contrasts beautifully with the diamonds set beneath the center arbor. The watch is elegantly cased in a cushion-shaped 18k yellow gold case and complemented by its original gold links, which were intended to connect leather straps rather than rest directly on them, as shown here today.
1964 marked a revolutionary moment for the house with the introduction of stone dials. Coral, often used among these materials, paid homage to the painterly textures and colors found in nature.
