Inspired by Ferrari's Pininfarina Sergio concept car unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Bovet collaborated with the head of Ferrari's design, Paolo Pininfarina, to release a limited run of the 'Sergio' rattrapante chronograph watches. The perforated sunken subdials resemble gauge clusters on the dashboard, and is meant to replicate the air vents on the body of the Sergio car.
Bovet's signature 'Amadeo' conversion case allows the wearer to configure the watch into a pocket watch, a wristwatch, or a table clock. At its heart beats the the self-winding caliber 13BA09R, running at 28,800 vph.
The Pininfarina 'Sergio' featured three dial variations: anthracite, grey, and blue, all released in a limited edition of 250 examples. The present example is no. 122 of 250 examples featuring the anthracite dial.
