This portrait is a high quality studio copy of the bust from Lawrence's full-length portrait of West, now in the Wadsworth Athenaeum.1 The full-length version was commissioned by the American Academy of Replica Handbags , New York in 1818 and completed after West's death in 1820, at which t.mes Lawrence succeeded West as President of the Royal Academy.
