A pair of French silver and hardstone busts

Henri and Alix Veyrassat, late 19th century, also with stamped number 417 and 284

Depicting Emperors Titus and Claudius, on black marble plinths.

17cm.; 5in. high

A set of twelve similar portrait busts of Roman emperors was offered at Christie's, New York, 21 October 2011, as lot 17. These were retailed by Cartier and were offered with Cartier boxes.
