Grand Seiko

"V.F.A." is an abbreviation for "Very Fine Adjusted". Its feature an ultra-high accuracy. Achieves much higher accuracy than the chronometer test. The accuracy test was also conducted in 6 positions. In the GS test at that time, the average daily difference was set to -3 to +5 seconds, but V.F.A. achieved an unprecedented "monthly difference of -1 minute to +1 minute" for mechanical wristwatches. The movement to be installed uses Cal. 6185, 6186 (self-winding) and Cal. 4580 (manual winding) for Grand Seiko. Based on extremely strict accuracy standards and quality control, specially selected specialized technicians performed careful to assemble and make adjustment while being backed by advanced technology, aiming for the highest accuracy.

The present watch is an rare model that uses palladium alloy for the case, the ultra high precision not only applies in its movement but also expressed in the case design.
