A CHINESE TURQUOISE 'PHOENIX' VASE AND COVER,

CIRCA 1900

of baluster form, carved in extremely high relief with a large phoenix perched on rockwork and surrounded by smaller birds resting and in flight, all amidst a blooming peony tree, its stems sweeping around the vase and issuing blossoms and leaves carved in the round, the domed cover with an openwork peony blossom finial, wood stand inlaid with silver wire. 3 pieces.
