Captain James Tiberius 'Jim' Kirk is a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise, and captain of the starship USS Enterprise. Captain Kirk first appeared in Star Trek's first episode, which was broadcast on the 8th September 1966. This poster was designed by Drew Struzan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Trek and believed to be available only directly from Paramount Pictures. This poster was signed by William Shatner at a special Star Trek convention. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
