This 1936 American romantic comedy was directed by Frank Capra. The cast includes Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur. It tells the story of Longfellow Deeds (Gary Cooper), who lives in a small town and leads a simple life until he inherits a huge fortune from a relative. On moving to the city he becomes the immediate focus of all those trying to take advantage of him.
