Jin Pinqing (active 1862 - 1908) was an artist of the late Qing period renowned for his paintings of landscapes, figure and flowers, recorded in the Dictionary of the Chinese Artists [Zhongguo huajia renming cidian] published during the Republican Period (1911-1949). Jin Pinqing is also known to have worked at Jingdezhen, and together with his contemporaries Cheng Men (1834-1908) and Wang Shaowei (1817–1887), was a pioneer in the use of soft matte enamels on ceramics in the so called qianjiang style.
