the body richly enamelled with a floral and foliate design over a cream ground, the upper rim with a dark blue and green border featuring stylised butterflies, set with large cabochon gem-stones at intervals, the whole body with applied silver beading as ornamentation on the enamelled design, with a hook handle enamelled in a conforming design, struck to the base with workmaster's initials in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 20501, with later French control marks
