Of Etruscan revival style, the spiga-link chain suspending a series of pendants with bead and rope twist details, set in alternation with banded agate cabochons and carved carnelian scarabs, the reverse of each scarab carved in intaglio with a mythical figure, the clasp applied with a grape vine motif, length approximately 405mm, Roman assay marks for gold, partial maker's marks.
