The Vacheron Constantin 43031 was first introduced in the early 1980's. It was produced until 2002, a long lifespan testifying its quality and popularity among collectors.
The watch is powered by the caliber 1120, based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 920 with an additional perpetual calendar module supplied by Dubois-Depraz. The result is a timeless 36mm case with an ultra-thin automatic perpetual calendar declined in a variety of case metals and dial configurations.
This present specimen is an extremely rare varient, featuring a heavy platinum case and matching bracelet as well as an impressive diamond and sapphire-set dial.
