FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH, 2 parts in one volume, small 4to (185 x 132mm.), black letter, near-contemporary notes on verso of last leaf, nineteenth-century calf by S. Mepham of Dorchester, small hole in title and following leaf, title soiled, minor worming in lower outer margin at beginning of second part, lacking S4 (presumably blank), binding rubbed, upper joint partly split, slight loss at head of spine


According to ESTC, this is "a translation [by Thomas Stocker] of "Chronyc. historie der Nederlandtscher oorlogen", which is somet.mes s attributed to Philips van Marnix van St. Aldegonde and to Carolus Rijckewaert (called Theophilus); the latter signs the second dedication here."
