Prinz, which is a lava-filled impact crater, is located in the Oceanus Procellarum on the Western edge of the near side of the moon. Extending from the right we can see the Rimae Prinz, a series of sinous rilles extending away from the crater for up to 80 km.

Lunar Orbiters IV & V flew in high altitude polar orbits with the primary objective of mapping the near side of the Moon in high resolution, with 100% of the nearside being photographed, and 95% of the farside.
