The second edition of book V, with woodcut illustrations copied from the 1547 Vascosan first edition (lot 610). The title is in the same architectural frame as the 1537 Marcolini edition of book 4 (lot 603).
This was also issued as part of the first collected edition of Serlio's five books on architecture (Edit16 32814).
Folio (367 x 252 mm). Italic type. collation: AAA-CCC4 EEE6: 18 leaves. Title printed in red and black within an architectural woodcut frame, woodcut initials and illustrations. (Occasional light marginal dampstaining, final leaf slightly frayed).
