• Movement: highly jewelled damascened two-train movement, lever escapement, some jewels carried in screwed gold chatons, bi-metallic compensation balance, hammers repeating on coiled gongs
• Dial: central white enamel dial, Roman numerals, eccentric running seconds, engine turned background with vari-coloured polychrome enamel Jacquemarts figures in fanciful Swiss Guard dress striking bells above
• Case: heavy 18ct gold, glazed cuvette, the band with slides for silence/sonnerie and grande/petite, case back with Swiss hallmarks for 18ct gold and numbered 2196
