the rectangular box with overhanging cover, decorated in Koetsu style in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takamaki-e, and inlaid in mother-of-pearl and lead on a black ground, depicting the entrance to the Nonomiya Shrine with a torii gate beneath a shrouded moon, among tall autumn grasses and a sedge grass fence, the interior with branch of plum blossom and a crescent moon, fundame rims
