in the form of a comic Edwardian motorist with cap, goggles and long leather coat, detachable heads, in an H.R. Tribbeck & Son fitted case,

9cm., 3 1/2in. high

The figure of the Edwardian motorist is taken from Mr Popple of Ippleton: a comedy with music, produced at the Apollo Theatre, London, 14 November 1905.

A gold-mounted blond tortoiseshell, enamel and mother of pearl carnet, 19th century in earlier taste
