From magnum at 9 years old, it has a very good colour, especially for 2000. Pure liquorice on the nose. Sweet spicy earth. Utterly enticing, intoxicating, hedonistic taste. That real wild strawberry flavour. Sweet Little Scarlets and damp earth on the palate. Very harmonious. Very "feminine" and full of charm, but there is no mistaking the deep flavour. Liquorice on the finish, as it began. Delightful wine and magical to drink at any t.mes of its life. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
