A porcelain hot chocolate cup and saucer, Gardner Porcelain Factory, Verbilki, late 18th century
painted with gilt reserves with scenes of Diana and Callisto, probably after Boucher, against cobalt background, gilt rose-bud finial, the saucer with a floral garland, marked on the undersides with blue factory marks
height of the cup 8.5cm, 3 1/3., diameter of the saucer 12.5cm, 5in.
