Rare and Attractive gem set and diamond demi-parure, 'Drapery', Cartier, circa 1958

Comprising: a necklace of Mughal inspiration, the flexible motifs centering on carved emeralds, collet-set with brilliant-cut diamonds as well as round rubies and sapphires, on a herringbone chain; and a pair of ear clips similarly set, maker's marks for Cartier Société Anonyme;each signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks for gold.

Accompanied by Cartier Certificate of Authenticity no. GE2001-494, dated 11 December 2003, stating that the piece was made by Cartier Paris in 1958.
