Description
Old Apple Jack NV
Loos, Kaufman & Co, Syracuse, N.Y., front label soiled and damaged, no strength stated
Provenance: This bottle originated from a New York cellar alongside many other old liquors, which was sold as part of an Estate Sale over 40 years ago.
"The bottle is a later version of a three piece 'flint' or colorless/clear glass liquor cylinder. It is certainly mouth-blown but during the later era of such just prior to machines becoming dominant, i.e., 1890s to maybe the mid-1910s. The cup base mold use, colorless (clear) glass and tooled finish/lip all point to that date range for the manufacture of that particular bottle."
