A.Lange & Söhne never fails to present an air of elegance and sophistication, which is perfectly combined with the precision of German watchmaking. The uncompromising mechanical movement of the Lange 1 captures the true essence of Glashütte and it was among the first four watches presented by the brand after its relaunch in 1994.
Established in 1845 by Ferdinand A. Lange, the brand ceased to exist in 1948 following the Soviet occupation after the Second World War. The Lange 1 now celebrates its 25th anniversary after the re-establishment of the company.
This timepiece showcases Roman numerals on the dial and a sapphire crystal back that enables the wearer to admire the beautifully crafted movement, a feature that was later added due to requests from collectors. It is further offered with its original guarantee booklet, instruction manual and presentation case, as well as a certificate confirming the individual engraving of the balance cock by one of A. Lange & Söhne's master engravers
