The reverse with translated Pennsylvania German John Fassnacht and his married wife Elizabeth maiden name Shmitt is a son to world born, named Daniel Fasnacht in the year of our Lord 1799 the 4[th] day of November in the morning of 5 o'clock in the sign of the waterman. This Daniel Fassnacht is is born and baptized in America in the state of Pennsylvania in Lancaster County in Earl Township / the recorded Daniel Fassnacht was baptized by the Reverend Preacher Peter Bentz Witnesses John and Eva Fassnacht.

Descended directly in the Fasnacht family.

Daniel Fasnacht is of the fourth generation of the Fasnachts who settled in Earl Township, present-day New Holland, Pennsylvania in the mid-18th century. He was born on November 4, 1799 to Johannes Fasnacht and Elizabeth Shmitt [Schmidt], and married Sarah Petikoffer, bearing four children. He died on October 8, 1881 and is buried at Swamp Church, Reinholds, Pennsylvania.
