A second copy of the first Aldine edition of Augurelli.


8vo (156 x 98 mm). collation: a-q8: 128 leaves (a2 and q7 blank). Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso (otherwise blank). (Somewhat damp-stained.)


binding: Contemporary Venetian blind-tooled morocco (160 x 100 mm), border and central stamps with knotwork decoration, small flower stamps at inner and outer corners, spine with blind hatching, traces of blue edges with title lettering in manuscript along foot of textblock, stubs from two pairs of ties. (Extremities slightly rubbed, repairs to spine.)
