A crisp tall copy of the facsimile edition of the Ventisettana. This copy has numerous extracts from sale catalogues regarding copies of the Decameron pasted to the rear flyleaves.
4to (238 x 166 mm). Italic type, 39 lines plus headline. collation: AA8 a-z [et] [con] [rum] A-H8 I12: 292 leaves (AA8 blank). Woodcut Giunta device on title-page and final verso.
binding: Contemporary Italian vellum (247 x 172 mm), morocco lettering-pieces on spine. (Binding slightly soiled, lettering- pieces rubbed.)
