A design for this table exists in the Gillows Estimate Sketch Books (Westminster City Archives, p. 3636). The model appears to have enjoyed great commercial success during the 1820s, and similar tables were supplied to the Earl of Brownlow at Belton House, Lincolnshire and the Earl of Fitzwilliam at Wentworth Woodhouse, Yorkshire.
