Color Photograph
1995
30 by 34 by 2 ½ in.
Sotheby’s is pleased to offer this signed photograph featuring Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, and Dennis Rodman, the core figures of the 1995–96 Chicago Bulls.
The 1995–96 Bulls delivered one of the most memorable seasons in NBA history. With Jordan returning for his first full season after retirement, Chicago finished the regular season 72–10, the best record the league had seen at the time.
Pippen, Jordan, and Rodman formed the foundation of that run. Pippen provided scoring, defense, and playmaking, finishing in the top five of both MVP and Defensive Player of the Year voting. Jordan led the league in scoring and set the competitive tone night after night. Rodman, in his first season with Chicago, became the team’s defensive anchor and led the NBA in rebounds per game at 14.9, reinforcing his status as the league’s premier rebounder.
With strong contributions from teammates including Toni Kukoč, Ron Harper, Luc Longley, and Steve Kerr, the Bulls moved through the playoffs with control, losing just one game in the Eastern Conference before reaching the Finals. Chicago went on to defeat the Seattle SuperSonics in six games to secure the 1996 NBA Championship.
Signed by the three leaders who defined that season, this photograph captures a pivotal moment in the Bulls’ championship era.
This photograph comes directly from the Collection of Scottie Pippen.
This photograph is also accompanied by a letter from James Spence Authentication in regards to the signatures.
