Sotheby’s is proud to present this basketball, signed by every player who participated in the 1993 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah. By the early 1990s, NBA stars were making their mark both on and off the court.

As the Chicago Bulls pursued their third straight championship, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were at the center of the league’s attention. By 1993, Pippen had firmly established himself as a two-way player, earning All-Star and All-Defensive honors and anchoring one of the era’s most complete teams.

The roster reflects the depth and talent of the period. Dominant big men such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, and David Robinson set the standard in the frontcourt, while Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, and John Stockton represented excellence across all positions. Many of these players would go on to Hall of Fame careers, making this lineup a defining group in NBA history.

This basketball comes directly from the Collection of Scottie Pippen.
