Small 8vo (130 x 83mm.), large woodcut on title, 159 leaves (a-t8, v7), 65 woodcuts of plants within double-line borders, later dark green crushed morocco elaborately gilt by Galvan, slipcase, title and subsequent leaf restored (title with parts in facsimile), a few minor repairs or tears, some leaves trimmed
A Latin poem on medicinal herbs by the 11th-century French physician Macer Floridus.
