Engraved illustrations of the Battle of the Nile, three plates on one sheet, depicting successive stages of the battle on the evening of 1 August, the night of 1-2 August, and the morning of 2 August, with a printed key to the three plates listing each battleship, numbers of guns and men, and the fate of the French ships, broadside (495 x 380mm), George Smeeton, St Martin's Lane, [after 1812], framed and glazed (700 x 575mm)
George Smeeton was a printer and publisher active 1800-1828, operating from 17 St Martin's lane from 1812 onwards.
