4to (12 1/2 x 10 1/4 in.; 318 x 260 mm). 20 color plates by Philip Rickman with lettered tissue-guards. Publisher's tan pigskin, spine gilt in six compartments, covers with gilt rules and stylized floral devices, top edges gilt, uncut; spine darkened and renewed with original backstrip laid down, minimal wear. Publisher's buckram slipcase, printed paper label on upper cover; some dampstaining. Half black morocco clamshell case.
Copy VI of ten Roman-numbered copies of the deluxe edition, with a fine highly-finished watercolor mounted as the frontispiece by Philip Rickman, who also signs the colophon.
