From a colour photograph, Dr Fred G. Meijer, to whom we are grateful, has noted that the picture is very similar to a signed variant by Jacob Gerrtisz. Cuyp.1 Another signed variant by Jacob Gerritsz.'s son, Aelbert Cuyp, was on the market with Rafael Valls in 2014.
