Short hand for Imago 2020 after Covid the present work was created by Hackatao during the Pandemic. Looking to the future and the new Renaissance of humanity in the aftermath of Covid-19, Hackatao considers the imago; the last stage an insect attains during its metamorphosis, its process of growth and development; also known as the imaginal stage, where the insect attains maturity, built to begin the next phase of life. In the present work a hybrid protagonist – part Greek goddess Venus, part warrior – is poised ready to take on a new life in a post-Pandemic, post-apocalyptic world, in the year that we will perhaps refer to as the new YEAR ZERO.
