Flowers by the Window was exhibited at Maria Yakunchikova’s posthumous exhibition held in 1905 as part of the 2nd Union of Russian Artists' exhibition in Moscow. A photograph from the exhibition shows Yakunchikova’s widower Leon Weber sitting on the right with the present lot visible just above him.
