The caisson of Mogao Cave number 323 at Dunhuang. Zhang Daqian copied the fresco and created the present lot DUNHUANG CAISSON OF THE MID-TANG DYNASTY.
This work was formerly in the collects ion of the artist's wife Madame Chang Hsu Wen-po. It first appeared in the market when Madame Chang entrusted the work to Replica Shoes 's in 2000
