Here’s everything you’ve missed at LFW so far
From Molly Goddard, to Vivienne Westwood, here are some LFW highlights.
London Fashion Week officially kicked off last week, with designers Bora Aksu and Paul Costelloe amongst the first to showcase their collections for AW21.
Under normal circumstances the LFW shows are strictly invite only, but 2021โs event is a little different. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, itโs taking place digitally this month, meaning anyone can tune into the coveted shows online.
Last monthโs menswear shows were cancelled by the British Fashion Council and the collections were merged into Februaryโs LFW shows, creating a gender neutral Fashion Week.
Instead of sticking to the idea of fashion for the binary, designers will present womenswear, menswear and everything in between, giving them an opportunity to break boundaries.
If you missed any of the shows, youโve come to the right place. Keep this page bookmarked to stay up-to-date on everything LFW.

Emilia Wickstead
On day four of LFW, Emilia Wickstead delivered a polished and glamorous show. Amongst a bright pink background, models wore soft tailoring with added details including draped scarves and trains. Stirrup leggings made an appearance, but there was a focus on smart and glamorous fashion once again as we look forward to getting our lives back. The gold brocade dresses were a highlight.

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
For AW21, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi presented campaign film, Unhinged. Complete with beautiful babushka scarves, cosy knits, oversized florals and beautiful overcoats, the collection is a cottagecore dream. Most of the materials used in the collection are either organic or constructed from fabric from previous seasons, and this fact simply adds to the magic.

Molly Goddard
Those expecting to see Molly Goddardโs incredible tulle dresses wonโt be left disappointed by her AW21 runway show. With iterations in red and black and aquamarine blue, theyโre bigger, bolder and even more voluminous than ever before, with each dress using 13 metres of tulle and 36 hours to make.

Vivienne Westwood

A vocal supporter of sustainability in fashion, it was notable that 90% of Vivienne Westwoodโs AW21 collection was made from materials that have a โreduced impact on the environmentโ. Proving sustainable fashion can still be incredibly stylish, the collection was every bit as colourful, creative and imaginative as youโd imagine.
