It’s such a cliché, but every January I truly do find myself feeling super motivated in all areas of my life. I’m the kind of person who likes to exercise all year round, but January offers a fresh start and with everyone else going teetotal and healthy, it’s almost unusual not to get involved.

Whether you’re looking for something to wear to get started or simply want to buy some new activewear, you really don’t need to spend much money. H&M is proof of that.

The brand has upped their game in recent months when it comes to sportswear, introducing H&M Move back in August.

The new brand offers reframed sportswear, designed for absolutely everyone to be able to move in.

The brand’s General Manager Simon Brown explains: “Removing barriers to sport is very much at the heart of our purpose, starting with democratising sports apparel. We provide a wide range of movewear across several categories that are stylish, functional and incredible value for our customers.”

While I love exercising, the clothes I choose to wear while working out are always on the more affordable side. Especially when starting out, spending a huge amount on activewear just doesn’t appeal. What if you don’t get any use out of it?

I’d rather save my pennies for the clothes that will definitely get more wears for now. But that isn’t to say H&M’s pieces aren’t cute; I have some activewear from the high street hero that I wear all the time even when I’m not working out.
