According to the global search platform Lyst, searches for the Diesel pantaboots increased 85% over 24 hours after Julia Fox wore hers to the brand’s FW22 runway show.

The unusual hybrid piece of clothing have been on the rise for a while thanks to Fox and reality TV star Kim Kardashian. So what exactly are they?

Pantaboots also known as Joots are a magical combination of jeans and boots.

They’re part of the widely successful first collection by Diesel’s new creative director, Glenn Martens.

These are not to be confused with ‘pantashoes’ which are a spandex version that hit the Balenciaga runway back in 2017 and have been a firm favourite of Kim Kardashian since, most recently during Saturday Night Live debut recently.
